The Young Assyrians (TYA) expresses deep concerns regarding Türkiye’s military operations and incursions into northern Iraq. These actions, primarily targeting the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK)— designated as a terrorist group by Ankara and several Western allies —are putting innocent lives as well as the region’s infrastructure at risk.
