Re-brand Announcement

SYDNEY— For almost fifteen years, The Young Assyrians (TYA) has led several major advocacy campaigns in Australia, representing the interests of the Assyrian nation. We are thrilled to announce that in 2024, we have adopted a new brand that best aligns with our values and strategic objectives as an organisation.

As we grow and evolve, so too will our brand. We thank you for your continued support and we look forward to sharing more updates with you as we begin rolling out our new brand across all our social media channels and our forthcoming website.

About our new branding:

Our new brand consists of two primary elements— the four-pointed star, symbolic of the ancient Assyrian deity Shamash, divine judge and god of justice, and a bilingual wordmark in both the Assyrian and English languages. This choice of symbolism not only celebrates Indigenous Assyrian cultural heritage but fosters connection with Assyrian communities— in Australia and globally.
